Israel has not learned its lesson. Its thirst for blood has yet to be quenched and the beast continues to stalk, hunt, maim, kill and devour in its insatiable hunger for flesh, bones, blood and souls. Israel is a raging animal out of control, bent on tearing everything around it to shreds. God help the man who is cursed with the fortune of getting in its path. That man will be pounced on and grounded in the teeth of the beast. Now that the beast has tasted the blood of man there is no choice put to put it down, to stop its madness and extinguish it. Gone forever are the lives broken in its trail of destruction; the blood of the victim the soil has absorbed and is a testimony of the carnage. Indiscriminate bloody carnage. And yet the animal does not learn. Admonishments, discipline, punishments, reasoning, none work when the heart of the beast is pumping the hot blood or revenge and rage. Hardly enough air can be inhaled to stop the sweaty panting of the animal as it engages in the murder of men. In its time of rage the beast knows few allies, all the peoples of the world are allied against it and yet, the beast knows no end. The beast must be put down at once. Its blood shot eyes display the inner soul of hatred and war. Men who love peace fear the seeds of discord and division the animal leaves in its wake. A man of innocence can have his life cut short, decimated for seeking refuge from the anger. Who can stop it? What can stop it? Even the most skilled hunters quake at its mere mention. Yet, there have been those brave among us who looked the beast in the eyes, with feet firmly planted on the ground, willing to stop the chaos. Many of these brave ones have been destroyed, some victorious but yet the beast does not learn. Why? Cannot even the most ferocious be tamed? This animal has shown it cannot be tamed under whip or the olive branch of friendship. My friends, this is Israel. The same Israel our country, our government supports in its rampant bloodshed, the same Israel that our government pledges eternal friendship too even in the midst of the foulest of crimes. Israeli tanks recently fired its artillery at several United Nations schools, in full knowledge of refugees seeking shelter from the colonizers’ invasion of their soil. In one attack at least 30 Palestinians have been murdered. At least 688 hundred Palestinians have been killed with 350 of those civilian causalities. Israel has only lost nine; NINE! This is like a great white shark eating a guppy during a feeding frenzy! The ratio of 688 to 9 casualties is the battle score of the strong against the weak, the colonizer against the colonized and the ravenous beast against the terrified, unarmed weakling of a man. Many Gaza residents have been displaced; there is no power or fresh water and there is the possibility that many will starve. But Israel, in its arrogance, declared that the war was not a humanitarian crisis! The Red Cross would kindly disagree with this assessment. But can you expect Israel to listen? They do not heed international calls to lay down their arms, showing the world that they indeed want blood spilt. John Ging of the United Nations said about the war, “There’s nowhere safe in Gaza. Everyone here is terrorized and traumatized.” Does this not sound like the aftermath of a terrorist attack? Yes and Israel is the terrorist! Sadly but not surprisingly, the blind minds in the White House continue to condone slaughter while placing all the blame for the war squarely on the shoulders of Hamas, as if Israel is without sin. Ignorance aside, we understand it is sheer stupidity to think that the master colonizer, the U.S would not look out for a fellow coworker participating in the job of extermination. Why the U.S continued its affection for Israel as Israel gave its approval to the evil, fascist regime of Apartheid in South Africa. The capitalist overlords of America do understand it wise to see the interests of Israel is best served knowing full well that Israel is its shining light of capitalist expansion in the middle of fertile land. The guise is freedom and democracy as they always say. Israel will continue to exist as long as America clings on to capitalism, broken bodies and burned Palestinian children be damned! But understand this Israel; the international community is against you, witnessed by numerous protests and marches showing solidarity with the peoples of Gaza. The oppressed of the world condemn you; even capitalist heads of state chastise you for your brutality! The image of 40 Palestinian bodies laid on the floor, body to body, and covered with blankets as mourners wail scuffs the shiny exterior that Israel tries to present to the world, the more Palestinians die, the more Israel becomes grotesque. What will happen when the United States disappears? Israel will truly be a fish out of water, struggling for survival and then it will exhaust itself and die.
